Overview: C-Luk's taste in music developed from his surroundings. The only music he ever heard was the music blasted in cars, and on giant radios on the street corner What he heard and quietly took in was classic soul, R&B and hard-hitting hip-hop. Meanwhile C-Luk continued to be an avid student of life, always challenging tradition and absorbing knowledge. His A's in school and high-test scores took him to Boston Latin School--the "Harvard of high schools"--where he was in the company of the brightest in Boston. His family eventually had to leave Boston and move up north about 12 miles to Lynn, Massachusetts. Poverty was more prevalent there--hence the move and the lower rent. It was here that he became a participant in rap music rather than just another listener. He was around ciphers constantly and classmates trying to outdo one another with their rhymes.
