"LaCora"(Cora) Griffin an native of Clayton, ALabama, grew up in the Rochester area in Albion, NY. She has been singing and performing at a very young age. She perform in state finals as wells as talent shows. After graduating from high Ms. Griffin moved to Montgomery, Alabama to attend Alabama State University where she sung in the University Chorus and different talent shows. She also, perform Peggy and Besse with Dr Tommy Stuart at Alabama State University and has taken vocal lesson from Dr Burns, also of Alabama State where LaCora majored in accounting and computers. While living in Montgomery, she has perform at such venues as Fox and Hound's,Front Street Entertainment, Igor's,{S@T Lounge, the Underground Cafe of Rochester, NY}, Q's Place and the Rose Supper Club all in Montgomery, Alabama. Most recently Ms Griffin Appeared at the Apollo Theater,Talent Rock Festival and American's Got Talent.
LaCora will be releasing her first debut singles " Walk on Bye", and "Crying Over You " off the CD "LaCora "Full of Love and Grace", on December 2, at the Rose Supper Club in Montgomery, Alabama. She has performed with Rubben Studdard's band Terrance Baldwin, Rhasheda, Ray Chew Chew and the Band and Comedian MC Lightfoot of Atlanta, Ga. LaCora also was a finalist with Hot 105.7 {Montgomery,Al) Radio station talent search 2007 featuring JOJO McToy, Darrell E, Costee J. all DJ's of Clearchannel.
LaCora will be performing Live featured songs "Walk on Bye, "Crying Over You", and Always Something New"
at the Rose Supper Club, on December 2 , located at 954 Highland Ave. She also will be celebrating her birthday. Where she is always" consider the crowds favorite". Come out and enjoy a wonderful evening and show.
LaCora has perform in the Southern State Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and in NY City at different showcases. She can be heard at the Rose Supper Club Wednesday nights doing her thang. She also can be viewed on Youtube" MCFIGHTKLUB", Google, Myspace, and New! Hot 105.7 Discover @ Uncover. Her present plan include performing in Atlanta, Ga with some mayor producers and Recorder Label. Currently, worked with ACME Recording Co(Rochester, NY)., DBF Records {Phenix City,Al), and THUG-GED-OUT Productions Inc. (Montgomery,Al).
