From the rush of a roaring crowd to the sweet sound of the steel guitar this country at heart, rock in the soul artist lives for playing guitar, singing and writing music. Kyndon Oakes was born in small town Kansas on September 24, 1985. He grew up in a town called Independence, Kansas. Growing up Kyndon loved to sing all genres of music but nothing got his adrenaline going and pulled on his heart strings like country music could. In Independence he found himself singing in any musical event he could. Kyndon was in several musical plays growing up and sang in every school music program they offered. In high school he sang in choir, along with a select group known as the Indy Ensemble. Upon high school graduation he had to decide whether to play collegiate football, baseball, or sing as he had scholarship offers in all three categories. He chose baseball for his first two years of college and during these two years, he learned how to play guitar and wrote his first song “Numb”. Since then he has written 12 songs and continues to keep writing. Kyndon currently lives in Pueblo, Colorado but soon plans to move to Nashville, Tennessee in order to pursue his dream and passion for music.
