Overview: The PEsto AmOres have retained humble anonymity...known among friends, family....and the occasional group of imperfect strangers, as a very practiced yet quixotic garage band. They paid their dues in smaller clubs in Berkeley and Emeryville (as well as Martinez and Walnut Creek) as part of a rock inspired "anti disco" movement in the mid-'70s east bay music scene. Their roots are shallow yet pervasive, starting in 1969 with two east bay high school musicians, Matt Longden and Bruce Langston...discovering an often unrequited passion for playing big tunes in front of small crowds... for free beer and 10% of the bar tab
