Mal is influenced by Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Jojo, Monica, Keyshia Cole and many others. Although Mal is talented in singing, she would rather write for others and have them sings her songs. Her goal is to create songs for many artists and have them featured in many albums, movies, and events. what sets Mal's music apart from other Artists is that Mal is very Universal. She has created songs in many genres rather than sticking to just one. Aside from writing, Mal is attending a University working on getting a degree in Urban Planning.
