Overview: Well, this all got started back in 1998. Freestyle rap was HUGE, and I wanted in on the fun. Growing up the son of a Baptist minister, I wasn't allowed to listen to secular hip hop. Well, I can say that would stop me. I used to buy cd's of everything from Tupac to Biggie, and listen to them at night, thru headphones, under my covers. When I took off to college, I performed at some frat parties, bars, clubs, etc. But to that point, was just going off the top of my head with whatever I could think up. AFter moving home in 2005, I started actually recording my first SONGS. Many songs and hours in the studio later, This One's For Ya'll, my debut album was finally done. Now it's time for it to be heard. With a sound all it's own, it encompasses everything from R&B, to funk, to new school club/pop style. I'm excited to see where it goes from here.
