Overview: Crisis in Cairo is a musical outfit that rose from the ashes of the disbanded Drivestone, a mostly military band that toured Northern Italy relentlessly for over a year. CiC is comprised of two talented visionaries: Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Chris Stanley, and Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Richard Lander II. The music on this CD was recorded on a basic Boss 10 track recorder by both Stanley and Lander. It blends Stanleys melodic Hooks with Landers raw lyrical storytelling. Combined is a unique musical landscape that stands out in a music scene that reuses the same concepts over and over.
