Overview: Featured at this year's Sundance & Tribeca Film Festivals, Cooper is quickly making a name for himself. However, one should not assume he's just another singer/songwriter on the fast track to fame. Cooper is a serious craftsman and fan of good songwriting: Having already won two major songwriting contests (sponsored by BMI and Billboard Magazine), he's also been a finalist at the John Lennon and USA Songwriting Contests with four different songs. Cooper and his band have gone on to write more compelling material and landed a featured spot on Continental Airlines "Hit Factory" radio show, with their song "Beautiful" played on every flight worldwide, in between Foo Fighters and U2 - the only unsigned act of the show. And managed to score the same feature earlier this year with their song "Aftertaste" played among such artists as Amy Winehouse, Matchbox 20, Smashing Pumpkins and Rilo Kiley--the ONLY unsigned artist in the history of the show to be chosen twice!
