Overview: Born and raised in Toledo, OH. I First began rapping at the age of 10 years old writing my own lyrics. My stage name is CJ Da Great but for short my nickname is CJ. I am a writer, I write poetry and currently working on a novel. Rap has been a passion of mine since the first time I was introduced to it. The person that the biggest influence on me and rapping was Tupac. I looked up to his musical talent and ability to write. Along with him other rappers influenced me as well. Rappers such as, B.I.G, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Juice the Crew. Today my biggest influences are Lil Wayne, Jay-z, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Plies, Ludacris and Yung Joc. As a Rapper I call my style no style and that means anything I want to do I can do. I just don't create one style of music, my music varies.
