Overview: We met at the St. Johns Recreation Center in Brooklyn, NY while working on a compilation album for the Crown Heights Live Youth Program. We collaborated on a beat provided to us from our mentor, Hip Hop Artist Chen Lo, produced by Carlos Bess, which we called "Soldier". The single describing the similarities of a soldier in the army and an musical artist in the industry, gained us popularity locally as the Rec Center decided to shoot a video for it. After releasing the video on YouTube & performing at the Crown Heights Affair '07 Show, we gained an invitation to the Mayor's RecYouth Film Festival in the summer of 2007. We performed and received an award for the video and decided to work on a project together which we finished in roughly 2 months before Brookz moved to Canada temporarily that same year. We are currently working on a double disc mixtape and our upcoming album "Back 2 Back". With the release of our singles and show footage, we hope to gain more hype and get noticed.
