Calvin Ray is a 30 year old country singer from Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Calvin also has Muscular Dystrophy but he has never let that stop him from achieving his musical dreams. He has performed on national tv 6 times on the National Jerry Lewis Telethon in 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2003 and 2001. In 2004 Calvin opened his own country music theater called Calvin Rays Live Music. He released his debut CD in 2007. He has released 3 singles on CDX and got good airplay on Secondary Radio Nationwide. Calvin has sung on the Midnite Jamboree 4 times in Nashville. He's Opened for many stars including Joe Diffie, Marty Stuart, John Anderson, Pam Tillis, Don Williams, Ricky Van Shelton and many more. In Aug. 2007 He recieved the Epiphone Lifetime Achievement Award for his humanitarian work and his musical accomplishments. Many have told Calvin that a singer in a wheelchair like him will never make it in the music business. He is determined to prove them wrong but he needs your help to do it!
