Overview: Born and raised in Florida. RJ has been involved in music his entire life. At the age of 5 he joined the youth church choir in which he was forced to sing tenor although he had a rather high pitched strange voice that did'n't match any of his peers. At the age of 7 he told his parents that he wanted to be a singer, however being a singer was not viewed as a career or profession to his parents. At any rate, he was forced to somewhat change/hide his dreams of becomming a singer. He later joined the elementary school chorus, band, handbells and keyboard. From the 4th grade through the 6th grade he played the drums for his local elementary band. He found himself unhappy because he was only using his abilities of rhythm. From the 7th grade throughout his highschool years he played the alto sax in the concert, jazz and marching band. After highschool he rediscovered his love and passion for music while attending a local University. He is now expected to graduate from the University in 2009.
