Overview: The names’ Slo-Poke (S.P) my biological name is Robert spruill. I started writing music at the age of 13, but didn’t become serious about it until my junior year in high school. I was featured on a compilation which gave me local notoriety. Writing for me was the easiest was the easiest was to express how I felt about whatever was going on in my life at that time. Its what I like to call “self therapy”. I have won numerous talent shows as well as emcee battles while perfecting my craft throughout the years. As we all know trends tend to come and go in this culture we call hip hop but I have managed to stay a float by being dedicated and true to myself in what I represent as an artists. I have opened up for veteran platinum selling artists such as Scarface, Bone Thugs and Harmony, The Roots, Digital Underground, and The Luniz.
