Overview: I grew up on Hip Hop. My life is Hip Hop. I am on a forward path to bring the music I love back to what it once was. Not that where it is at now is a wrong turn but it is missing some of the elements that made is as great as it now is. There is no unity left in the game it is every man for himself and a movement divided can not stand. The political drive has taken a backseat to the club song and some artists are being told not to speak on those types of issues. Hip Hop is much more than what the next trend is going to be and runs much deeper than material possessions. I don't deny being guilty of the same things and I might focus on them sometimes but I am not distracted by them. Yes it is true everyone likes to be fly and have a nice ride but it becomes a problem when that is all you are concerned with. Hip Hop is very powerful and should not be simplified down and based only on sales like the fast food industry. I plan to rebuild the legacy of Hip Hop and help it live on.
