Overview: Serious music lovers first became aware and were touched bye the Melodic voice of Dwayne Ellis while as lead singer of a group "The Links" they entered the British talents and song writers contest semifinals in 1975 at the Heathrow Airport Hotel, and being the only Black group that participated they literally fell overboard when it was announced that they had in fact won.
