The Alabama native with the stage name “Dirk LP” began at the age of 9 with a beat machine, a 4-track mixer and a serious passion for hip-hop music. With a long list of influences from every corner of the map, Dirk LP has become a well-rounded artist, producer and performer making his presence known all over the Southeast and beyond. He launched his independent label, Dirk Down Records, Inc. in December 2000, and has been knocking out hits ever since.
