Overview: Born in Montana, in the fall of 2006, Goodnight Sunrise went straight to work in the winter of 2007, to write and record their self-produced, debut EP "Close & Counting." As high school receded from the present to the past, "Close & Counting" documents a specifically treasured time. Having known each other for most of their lives as school friends and family, Goodnight Sunrise banded together to break out of their small city. While other friends went out to work and left home for school, Goodnight Sunrise got in the van. Goodnight Sunrise has played over 200 shows since the release of their debut EP, and left home for 10 Western US tours which has helped "Close & Counting" to sell over 5,000 copies and solidify their fan base on the left coast. While on the road they have shared the stage with the likes of MAE, Plain White T's, and played select acoustic sets on the 2008 Warped Tour.
