Overview: SUENOS is the name of the exciting Chicano Soul band from Sacramento, California that was formed in 1979. Under the guidance of Frank Lizarraga and Israfel Records (Lovetaxi Productions) the band released the songs; BABY, I LOVE YOU” and “OH’ LITTLE GIRL” that received extended airplay in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Their cumbia “LA CITA and ranchera “SOY COMPESINO” received regional airplay on Spanish radio stations. Recently, a few SUENOS songs have shown up on classic hit albums like, “LOST CHICANO OLDIES”, vol. 1 and PURA AZTLAN CHICANO CLASSICS, vol. 1. Lovetaxi Productions has reissued the songs of SUENOS on an album "HOLLYWOOD GIRL and more Chicano Soul" [cd-411] and currently, four of the seven original members perform with the Latin beat band, LUVTAXI.
