Overview: Graduating from their Music Performance degrees with Honours (classical) at the elder conservatorium, the Candida kids also had a need to break out into the rockier side of life, thus, CANDIDA was born.
Currently professional musicians in their own right (Neil is the latest addition to export giants ‘The Cat Empire’, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Youth Orchestra and just joined Jason with the Adelaide Art Orchestra and on a new feature film ‘Broken Hill the movie’ (currently filming) to name a few), Candida sure know how to work a crowd into a dancing frenzy with their unique Electro-Groove/funk Rock sound which features virtuosic electric-viol.
Their debut CD 'Telstar' entered at number 2 on the SA Real Charts and their brand new single 'Mystery' is already causing even more of a stir.
