Wilmie Pieroni de Barros(born on July 28, 1990) is a singer/songwriter who lives in Rio de Janeiro.

Wilmie was born in Rio de Janeiro, she always loved singing and she was a very creative kid.
When she turned 16, she recorded some songs just for fun and put on the internet. Friends and others kept supporting and she started taking it more seriously to a career level. She recorded a lot of demo songs which helped her to grow up as an artist, but they were not good enough to become a hit.
She kept creating, writing and singing. In 2010 she did some performances in a Music Institute where she had vocal classes.
Still in the same year she participated in some concerts with a cover band, singing in clubs and wedding.
In 2011, Wilmie started the Lights Off project which was finished in 2012.
This is what we could call a HIT. The song was produced by a Brazilian producer, and written by Wilmie.
The song was recorded in february and released on 07/18/2012.
