Overview: Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, John started playing in bands there in the early 70s, moving to L.A. in 1978. For the next 20 years he worked in L.A. as a singer/songwriter/guitarist developing his craft---finally delivering his first cd in 1998: My Heart Is In Your Hands, followed by Half A World Away in 2002, Things I Wish I Would Have Said in 2004, John Vester / Mark Lennon 2 Voices, 1 Guitar tour promo CD 2005, John Vester / Mark Lennon Holland live tour concert DVD/CD 2006. John has also written & co-written a number of songs on the last 7 album releases by the American band Venice (including: Venice 2 Meter Sessies which earned a gold record award in Holland in 2003).
