Overview: We are ANEW from Melbourne Beach, made up of Alex Nick Elliot Ethan and Will. We settled on the name ANEW because we couldn't think of anything better. Big ol dicks, you know? Our main influences include Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold, and anything else that kicks you in the ass. The idea to form our band came from the first three members, Nick Elliot and Will. The three of us jammed a few Led Zeppelin tunes with Nick on guitar, Elliot singing, and Will playing drums. In almost no time we wrote our first original song, which we have since stopped playing. Alex joined us on bass guitar a month or two later and we got put on some shows with Little Reggies. In February we decided to jam with Alex's older brother Ethan playing rythm guitar with us, and we liked the new sound so much that he became a permanent member. We record our music at Alex and Ethan's home studio. We are now and have been writing new material for our upcomming ep.
