Using a grocery store's Green Stamps, Charley's Mother got managed to get him a low quality guitar, setting Charley on his way to a world where he could release his inhibitions caused by his social outcast.
Finally, as an adult, Charley got the courage to apply for a position as a solo entertainer in Boulder Colorado and got the low paying job, but now the thrill and morale boosting experience of playing onstage was in his blood and he planned to run with it. Over 30 years later, we have Charley, still playing solo, but thrilling crowds with his rich, multi range baritone voice and his unique style of accompanying himself on guitar. True music lovers are Charley's best audiences, people that appreciate talent and the years of work it takes to reach Charley's level of live performance.
